TO LILIANA CAVANI E JULIE TAYMOR
The 2nd edition of the Carla Fendi Award was held in the splendid Caio Melisso Carla Fendi Theatre, then undergoing restoration by the Foundation. The 2013 award was presented to Liliana Cavani and Julie Taymor — two renowned filmmakers who, despite their different artistic visions, share a distinctive creative journey shaped by a powerful female sensibility. The ceremony was hosted by Piera De Tassis, editor-in-chief of Ciak, together with Natalia Aspesi and Antonio Monda.
