2023 CARLA FENDI STEM AWARD
TO ANDREA PATASSA
On Sunday, 9 July, during the final concert of the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi, the Carla Fendi STEM Award 2023, in its 12th edition, was presented to Spoleto-born astronaut Andrea Patassa, selected from over 22,000 candidates worldwide as a reserve astronaut for the European Space Agency (ESA). The award was bestowed by Maestro Antonio Pappano, in the presence of the Festival’s Artistic Director Monique Veaute and Maria Teresa Venturini Fendi, President of the Carla Fendi Foundation.
