2026 CARLA FENDI STEAM AWARD TO THE WATERMILL CENTER
On Sunday 12 July, the 2026 Carla Fendi STEAM Prize was awarded to The Watermill Center—the laboratory for the arts and humanities founded by Robert Wilson in 1992. Presenting the award to the Center's Artistic Director, Charles Chemin, was actress Isabella Rossellini, linked to Wilson by a deep, longstanding friendship and a frequent artistic partnership rooted in a shared avant-garde vision. Joining her on stage were Daniele Cipriani, Artistic Director of Spoleto69 Festival dei Due Mondi, and Maria Teresa Venturini Fendi, President of the Carla Fendi Foundation.
