2021 CARLA FENDI PRIZE
To Carol LeWitt and Marina Mahler
On the final day of the Festival dei Due Mondi, before the final concert conducted by Maestro Antonio Pappano, the 2021 Carla Fendi Prize was awarded to Carol LeWitt and Marina Mahler, heirs of the artists Sol LeWitt and Anna Mahler, promoters of culture and creators of the Mahler & LeWitt Studios artist residencies in Spoleto. This recognition recognizes their efforts to keep the artistic spirit alive in the area by promoting the training and work of new artists, designers, musicians, curators, and writers. The prize money will be used for a long-term scholarship program for residents working in the fields of art, fashion, and technology at Mahler & LeWitt Studios.
